Weld Heads for manual operations

AMADA WELD TECH offers a high-quality portfolio of foot operated weld heads. These are ideal for situation in which the operator has to position parts manually and good coordination is required between positioning the parts and closing the weld head.

With our pneumatic weld heads for manual operation, the EZ-Air ensures repeatable, reliable, high-speed operation and provides unsurpassed repeatability and easy set-up.

High Force Spot Welding Heads for automation - FP200, FP5

MIYACHI PECO's high force weld heads are designed for larger and more robust automated spot welding applications. They are particularly suited to applications such as copper-stranded wire welding, motor-armature fusing, welding automotive stamping, and nut welding.

  • Modular for easy integration for automation
  • Adjustable force-firing from 400 N to 18000 N
  • Fast follow-up
  • Water-cooled electrode holders

Light Force Microwelding Head - 50 Series

The Series 50 Light Force Micro Welding Head is a precision, low-inertia head designed specifically for delicate, parallel-gap welding, thermo-compression bonding and reflow soldering. True vertical electrode motion eliminates the electrode-wiping action. A low mass spring and compound lever force system ensure accurate, repeatable welding force in the 40 to 1000 gram range. This makes Series 50 perfect for wire and ribbon applications such as fine-trace circuit board repair, wire-wound potentiometers, hybrid microwave devices, pacemakers, electrical fuses, ordnance fuses, smart cards, solar cells and other thermo-compression bonding or micro-welding applications.

  • Very Low Force – 40 to 1000 grams
  • True Vertical Electrode Force Motion
  • Exclusive "Unitip" Electrodes
  • Specifically Designed for Micro welding and Thermo-compression Bonding Applications

Spot Welding Heads for Automation - F120, F160, FD120

Featuring excellent dynamic response and stable follow-up, the MIYACHI PECO F series weld heads are well suited to a wide range of resistance-welding applications which require both precision and reliability.

With 3 models to choose from and force ranges from 1.2 to 550N, there is sure to be one that is right for your specific application.

  • Modular for easy integration for automation
  • Adjustable force-firing from 1.2 N to 550N
  • Fast follow-up
  • Ideal for safety-critical applications

Thinline Series Weld Heads - 80, 180 Series
